| Method: Questions on vertebral
fractures were included in the questionnaire published in the in June 2000
newsletters of the AS societies in Germany and Austria (see above). 1080
AS patients responded. A second questionnaire with detailed questions on
vertebral fractures to be answered only by patients with a history of a
vertebral fracture was printed in the membership journals of the AS societies
in Germany and Denmark in June 2001. 77 patients responded. X rays of some
of the fractures could be inspected. |
