4th Council Meeting
held on 29 August – 1 September 1996 in Hafjell near Lillehammer (Norway)
Delegates from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Japan, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Discussion on Internet use by ankylosing spondylitis societies, on publicity leaflets of ankylosing spondylitis societies, and on the copyright of artwork used in the societies' publications. Prof. Monika Østensen presented her results of the ASIF survey on ankylosing spondylitis and pregnancy. Dr. Jon Erlendsson gave a report on his investigations on car driving with ankylosing spondylitis. The vice president presented 5 viewgraphs on ASIF and offered to make copies in other languages.
